Who We Are

Nicaragua is a country with a relatively recent timberland history; over the past 20 years, approximately 20,000 hectares have been planted, mostly with Teak plantations.  About 55% of Nicaragua’s Teak is in the Pacific region, 30% is in the Caribbean region, and 15% in the Central region. Even though the total planted area may not be as big as neighboring countries like Costa Rica or Panama, Nicaragua can be considered a rising star in terms of timber sourcing, because most of the Teak volume to be harvested in the foreseeable future comes from certified companies that meet the highest international sustainability standards.

C&B Timber is a logging and sawmilling company that, in its role of Supply Chain Manager, puts the best effort to provide our customers (consumers) a comfortable position at the origin, by connecting them to our strong sourcing allies in Nicaragua. The key is to maximize liquidity for the inventory at the right price which works for both sides, to make the flow of goods simpler, more transparent, and more profitable...Simply put, we are looking at the long-term business with close association by working with few selected consumers on market side.
